1. In FB the down arrow keys will show the first 5 or 6 options
2. After making a selection, focus is not returned to the box so I can continue to make selections.

if you click the close button, that element has no rel attr so therefore the list does not get updated.

on ie, I dont understand why is there a difference between the backspace and the click to the cross,

On your demo, when you remove the item with the cross and submit the item appears.
when you remove the item with the backspace and submit the item doesn’t appear.

I. Remove item still doesn’t work. I made some changes. It seems working fine now.

1. Line 136 should be:

With these changes, the remove item now works consistently when using both mouse and keyboard.

II. After remove a pre-added item and try to add the same item back to the list, this item will appear in the list twice.

III. Please remove the line 66 to 68. This should be controlled by the user, not the plugin. I am using Grails for development. It doesn’t like the [].

IV. We should have an optional callback event to parse the JSON result differently. Right now, I have to use the caption/value format.

I would love to see more improvements. Nice plugin and great work!
